The Challenge

The TPA, serving over 500 employer clients, faced significant limitations with its existing provider directory vendor. The platform could not handle the varied and multi-tiered network structures required by their complex plan designs. Additionally, it lacked integration with member portals and concierge services, did not support reference-based pricing or price transparency, and was not scalable enough to support newly acquired businesses and evolving plan models.

The Solution

To address these challenges, the TPA selected Perspecta to replace its legacy provider directory vendor. Perspecta developed two distinct directory solutions: a public directory for broker engagement and employer sales, and a member-specific directory with integrated price transparency tools. The solution also included seamless SSO integration with the TPA's existing member portal and embedding the directory within concierge services like Quantum and Accolade. Custom configurations supported multiple network layers, provider-level exceptions, and reference-based pricing.
